CAMPING IN BOURGONDIË
Cycling in Southern Burgundy
Saône et Loire region, Southern Burgundy, is the perfect place for cycling holidays. It is here that was created the first Voie Verte (Greenway) in France. This Voie Verte runs from Chalon-sur-Saône to Mâcon through Cluny. But also reach Mâcon from Chalon by following the Voie Bleue (Blue Way) that runs along the Saône river. These two itineraries are ponctuated with vineyards and magnificient monuments or sceneries such as the Solutré Rock, the abbey of Cluny or the abbey of Tournus. These two paths are flat and easy. Tent and pitches for cyclists
If you are cycling across Burgundy, campsite Pont de Bourgogne is the perfect stopover. We have tents and pitches especially thought for cyclists. Our tents can accommodate 2 or 6 persons. The 2 persons tents are built on stilts and offer a lovely view on the Saône river. They have a covered picnic table so you can eat away from rain if the weather is not good. Neither the 2 persons or the 6 persons tents have bathroom but they both are situated close to the main sanitation block.
