In Chalon-sur-Saône in southern Burgundy
Our campsite in Chalon-sur-Saône offers a range of services to make your camping holiday in Burgundy as pleasant as possible. On site, you’ll find a bar with a terrace overlooking the Saône, a snack bar and takeaway service, as well as a grocery store stocked with convenience products, cold drinks and ice creams. We also have a boutique stocking a selection of Burgundy wines. Children are not forgotten either, with aplayground and trampoline next to the toilet block.
Every morning, bread and pastries are available from the bar (to order). A popular breakfast option for cyclists is also available.

Terrace overlooking the Saône
The Pont de Bourgogne campsite has a bar with an indoor room and an outdoor terrace on the banks of the Saône. The ideal place to enjoy a drink after a day out in the Burgundy vineyards. You’ll be able to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, as well as softs and local beers. You’ll also be able to taste Burgundy wines that we’ve carefully selected for you.

On the banks of the Saône
The Pont de Bourgogne campsite in Chalon-sur-Saône has a snack bar (1/05 – 15/09) where you can enjoy pizzas, fried sausages and typical Burgundian beef. You can take these dishes home with you to your pitch or mobile home, or choose to eat them on the bar-snack bar’s indoor or outdoor terraces.
Our snack bar is closed on Sundays, but on Sundays we offer a food-truck service in front of the campsite.
If, however, you’d like to accompany your stay at the Pont de Bourgogne campsite with a more gastronomic meal, there are a dozen restaurants of varying styles within a ten-minute walk of the campsite.

Every morning, at the bar of the Pont de Bourgogne campsite in Chalon sur Saône, we offer you an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast: hot drinks, pastries, fresh fruit, fruit juices, cold meats, cheese, yoghurts, and more. Ideal for a good start to the day before visiting Burgundy. Buffet rate – all-you-can-eat breakfast: €13 (buffet from May 1, breakfast on request from April 1 to May 1).
In addition to the breakfast package, bread and pastries are also available every morning from the campsite reception (to order).

Emergency supplies, soft drinks and Burgundy wines
At the Pont de Bourgogne campsite, you’ll find a small grocer’s store stocked with emergency products such as toothpaste and shampoo, as well as pasta, butter and canned goods. Fresh drinks are also available. The grocery store at the Pont de Bourgogne campsite also offers a selection of Burgundy wines. At the campsite reception, you can order bread and pastries and pick them up the next morning.
Our grocery store is a convenience store. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, there are plenty of shops within easy reach of the campsite, as downtown Chalon sur Saône is only a few minutes’ walk away. A shopping area with a hypermarket is also within easy reach on foot (about 20 minutes), by bike or by car.
For children
Playground and trampoline
Camping du Pont de Bourgogne is not a campsite with entertainment. However, children have not been forgotten. Near the main sanitary block, a playground awaits the little ones. There’s also a ping-pong table. At the far end of the campsite, children will find large grassy areas where they can play and run freely. If you’d like to take your children to the pool, the Chalon-sur-Saône municipal swimming pool is less than 5 minutes from the campsite, on the other side of the Saône. You can get there on foot by crossing the bridge.

Charming vineyards and villages
On the outskirts of Chalon-sur-Saône, the Pont de Bourgogne campsite is ideally located for visiting southern Burgundy. From the campsite, you can go for walks in the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise, discover Beaune and its Hospices with their glazed roofs, or climb to the top of the Roche de Solutré. Not forgetting Tournus and its Romanesque abbey church, Cluny and the medieval hilltop village of Brancion.
