At Chalon sur Saône in Southern Burgundy
Our campsite in Chalon-sur-Saône offers a range of services to make your camping holiday in Burgundy as pleasant as possible. On site, you’ll find a bar with a terrace overlooking the river Saône, a snack bar and a takeaway service, as well as a grocery shop stocked with emergency products, cold drinks and ice creams. We also have a shop selling Burgundy wines that we have selected for you. Children are not forgotten, with a play area and trampoline reserved for them next to the toilet block.
Every morning, bread and pastries are available from the bar (to order). A breakfast menu is also available, much appreciated by cyclists.

Terrace on the banks of the Saône
The Pont de Bourgogne campsite has an indoor bar and outdoor terrace on the banks of the Saône. The ideal place to enjoy a drink after a day out in the Burgundy vineyards. You can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, as well as soft drinks and local beers. You can also sample the Burgundy wines that we have carefully selected for you.

On the banks of the Saône
The Pont de Bourgogne campsite in Chalon-sur-Saône has a snack bar where you can enjoy pizzas, fried sausages and typical Burgundy beef. You can take these dishes with you to your pitch or mobile home, or choose to eat them on the bar-snack bar’s indoor or outdoor terraces.
Our snack bar is closed on Sundays, but on Sundays we offer a food-truck that sets up in front of the campsite and serves excellent burgers.
If, however, you would like to accompany your stay at the Pont de Bourgogne campsite with a more gastronomic meal, there are ten or so restaurants of varying styles within a ten-minute walk of the campsite.

With a buffet
Every morning, at the bar of the Pont de Bourgogne campsite in Chalon sur Saône, we offer an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast: hot drinks, pastries, fresh fruit, fruit juices, cold meats, cheese, yoghurts, etc. Ideal for a good start to the day before visiting Burgundy. Buffet rate – all-you-can-eat breakfast: €13.
In addition to the all-you-can-eat breakfast, bread and pastries are also available every morning from the campsite reception (to order).
Grocery shop
Emergency products, cold drinks and Burgundy wines
At the Pont de Bourgogne campsite, you’ll find a small grocer’s shop stocked with emergency products such as toothpaste and shampoo, as well as pasta, butter and preserves. You can also buy cold drinks. The grocery shop at camping du Pont de Bourgogne also sells Burgundy wines, which we have selected for you. At the campsite reception, you can order bread and pastries and collect them the next morning.
Our grocery shop is a convenience store. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, there are shops close to the campsite, as Chalon sur Saône town centre is only a few minutes’ walk away. A shopping area with a hypermarket is also within easy reach on foot (about 20 minutes), by bike or by car.
For children
Playground and trampoline
Camping du Pont de Bourgogne is not a campsite with entertainment. However, children have not been forgotten. Near the main sanitary block, a play area awaits the little ones. There is also a table tennis table. At the far end of the campsite, children will find large grassy areas where they can play and run around freely. If you want to take your children to the swimming pool, the Chalon-sur-Saône municipal swimming pool is less than 5 minutes from the campsite, on the other side of the river Saône. You can get there on foot by crossing the bridge.

Aux portes de Chalon sur Saône, le camping du Pont de Bourgogne est idéalement situé pour visiter la Bourgogne du Sud. Depuis le camping vous pourrez en effet partir en balade dans les vignobles de la Côte Chalonnaise, découvrir Beaune et ses Hospices aux toits vernissés ou encore grimper au sommet de la Roche de Solutré. Sans oublier Tournus et son abbatiale romane, Cluny ou le village médiéval perché de Brancion.
