Comfortable camping pitches and accommodation at our campsite on the banks of the Saône

The Pont de Bourgogne campsite in Chalon-sur-Saône stretches along the banks of the River Saône, just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. Most of our pitches are camping pitches, but our campsite in Chalon-sur-Saône also has comfortable accommodation for family holidays in Burgundy. Our largest Chalet can accommodate up to 14 people. Some are shaded and others are sunny, so there’s something for everyone. In the first half of the campsite, these pitches are separated by hedges to preserve everyone’s privacy. At the other end of the campsite, you’ll find open pitches separated by large expanses of grass. Camping du Pont de Bourgogne is flat and easy to get to. Its pitches can accommodate all types of vehicle, whether you’re travelling with a caravan, motorhome or tent.

To make your stay in Burgundy at Chalon-sur-Saône as pleasant as possible, these camping pitches have electric hook-ups. They also give you access to two sanitary blocks. Both blocks are new and perfectly maintained.

Our wooden chalets face the Saône. It’s a pleasant place to enjoy an evening drink as the sun reflects off the river. Our 6-person tents are ideal accommodation for families or groups, particularly cyclists and hikers visiting Burgundy and stopping off at our campsite in Chalon sur Saône. They offer 6 beds in a 24 m² space. They do not have a bathroom, but are located close to the campsite sanitary block.

On the outskirts of Chalon sur Saône, the Pont de Bourgogne campsite is ideally located for visiting southern Burgundy. From the campsite you can take a walk through the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise, discover Beaune and its Hospices with their glazed roofs or climb to the top of the Roche de Solutré. Not forgetting Tournus and its Romanesque abbey church, Cluny and the medieval hilltop village of Brancion.
